WWF-India, one of the largest conservation organizations, engaged in wildlife as well as nature conservation in the country, invites applications from applicants with an inherent sensitivity towards the conservation of nature, for the position of Senior Programme Officer– Eco-Trails for the Environment Education division.
Job Profile:
The role entails the implementation and management of the various facets of the Eco-Trails programme. This includes designing as well as implementing nature trails and also workshops, creating locally pertinent biodiversity resource material and communication material. Marketing of all the programs as well as striking partnerships is an additional key role.

The Responsibilities include:
- Design and also implement nature trails as well as workshops.
- Compile and maintain reports, budgets as well as databases.
- Research and also develop content for biodiversity publications.
- Outreach and marketing of the various programs.
- Establish partnerships to scale the program.
Education, Experience and also Abilities:
- Candidate needs to have a Bachelors/ Masters degree in Life Sciences, Wildlife, Zoology or closely related field from a reputed university.
- Minimum experience of 3 years working in conducting nature trails and biodiversity workshops for students as well as citizens.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication as well as writing skills.
- Excellent interpretation skills of India’s biodiversity.
- Highly responsible as well as adheres to high safety standards.
