Name of the Project: “Study the toxic effects of exposure to Bisphenol A and Dibutyl phthalates on renal organ and identification of potential therapeutics for its mitigation by using Drosophila melanogaster model organism”

Duration: The initial appointment will certainly be for one year and also might be extended depending upon the satisfactory performance of the applicant till the duration of the project.

Emoluments: Rs. 31,000 + HRA (for JRF) or Rs. 25,000/- + HRA (for Project Associate-I).

Essential qualification:

• M.Sc. in Life Sciences/Zoology/Biotechnology with a minimum of 55% marks or equal grade. Applicants making an application for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) must have actually qualified CSIR-UGC NET-LS, DBT BET-Category II or GATE or equivalent examinations.
• Those candidates who do not qualify for CSIR-UGC NET-LS, DBT BET-Category II or GATE or equal exams will be eligible for Project Associate-I.
• Candidates having prior research experiences in the area of renal diseases utilizing the Drosophila model, molecular biology, microscopy from a reputed research Institute/ University will certainly be given preference.
