Walk-in-Interview to fill up a proposed vacancy at Multidisciplinary Research Unit (MRU) in R.G. Kar Medical College on 20.07.2021(Tuesday) from 11:00 am sharp at the Platinum Jubilee Lecture Theatre, Platinum Jubilee Building, R.G. Kar MCH.

The candidates will be appointed for a Contractual basis initially for one (1) year and renewable for a subsequent year based on the performance of the candidate.

Terms and conditions

1. The above-mentioned posts are purely contractual and renewable for subsequent years based on the performance/progress is shown till the closure of the project.
2. Selection will be made by the Institute level Recruitment Committee of the project.
3. The upper age limit is 45 years as of the date of advertisement.
4. Initially, the contract will be valid up to one ( 1) year from the date of joining.
5. These are purely contractual posts so that they will not have any claim whatsoever for regularization.
6. The performance will be assessed on a regular basis.
7. If the performance of the appointee is not satisfactory, an appointment can be terminated at any time without any notice.
8. Candidates will have to submit an affidavit at the time of joining that day will accept the general instructions & terms and conditions related to the post.
9. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
10. The candidates appearing for the walk-in-Interviews should bring along with all the original and Xerox copies of their relevant certificates, CV and documents by 10:00 am on 20.07.2021 (Tuesday).

Remuneration: Rs. 56,000 plus HRA per month

Essential Qualification:

1. Postgraduate Diploma in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology with two years R&D/teaching
   experience in the required subject from a recognized university.
   OR
2. B.Tech degree in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology subject with four years R&D/teaching experience in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology after B.Tech degree.
   OR
3. Master degree in the relevant subjects from a recognized university + PhD degree in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry or allied subjects from a recognized university with 3 years R&D/teaching experience in the Molecular Biology/Biotechnology or a related subject like Biochemistry etc. after M.Sc/PhD

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Doctorate or M.Tech Degree in a relevant science or engineering subject or MD in the relevant subject from a recognized university for candidates.
2. Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized institutes.
3. Knowledge of computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data Management
4. Publication in indexed scientific journals of national & international repute.
