Project Title: “COVID-19 Neurological Disease: A Prospective Case Control Study in Brazil, India and Malawi”
Name of the PI: Dr Anita S Desai
Work location: The position will be based at NIMHANS, Bengaluru.
Maximum age limit: 30 Years
Period of the post: Nine (9) months. An initial appointment will be made for a duration of six months, extendable based on the performance of the candidate.

Qualification:
Masters Degree in/ Microbiology/Virology with 2 years of experience working in clinical
microbiology/virology diagnostic lab.
Desirable Qualification:
- Prior work experience with serological/molecular techniques used for diagnosis of brain infections.
- Knowledge of inventory maintenance of samples, kits and also regents.
Key responsibility: Should perform lab tests on samples received from patients enrolled in the project, assist the PI’s as well as Co-PI’s training of lab technicians at various other websites as well as monitoring laboratory result obtained whatsoever sites.
