Conditions:

1. The applicants chosen for the above posts will certainly be on contract for one year or
   period of the project whichever is shorter, at a time.
2. Hostel/housing facility can be provided to the female applicants.
3. Candidates may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/ PH as well as attach documentary proof of the same.
4. No TA/DA will certainly be paid for attending the interview if called for.
5. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated by e-mail concerning the date and time of the interviews. Interviews of shortlisted applicants will be held online with video conferencing.
6. Apart from sending applications in the prescribed format given below, candidates
   should send complete Curriculum Vitae along with the names of three referees.
   Curriculum Vitae should contain details of the experimental expertise.

Emoluments:

The chosen applicants will certainly draw consolidated emoluments based on Institute Guidelines, depending upon qualifications & experience.

Rs. 47,000 + 24% HRA (According To DST OM dated 30.01.2019).

Educational Qualification: PhD in life sciences preferably in Molecular biology/Virology
with a good scholastic record. The candidate ought to have demonstrated aptitude in terms of publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Job description & Desired Knowledge:

• The selected applicant is expected to work on developing the platform for evaluation of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine in animal models in BSL-2 settings. Most of the work will certainly utilize animal models, cell lines and the development of pseudoviruses. Interested candidates should have basic concepts of molecular biology and viral immunology and also expected to have skills in animal research.
• Hands-on experience in Cloning, protein purification, virus propagation, FACS and also.
  ELISA is needed.
