Applications are invited online for filling up of position on a purely temporary basis, in the

Duration: The engagement will be originally for six months, which may be extended or curtailed depending upon the period of the tenure of the sponsored project as well as/ or performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be. The engagement will be totally short-term and shall not be CSIR/NCL appointment, temporary or otherwise, as well as shall not entitle the appointee to any right/claim whatsoever, implicit or explicit, for his/her consideration

against any type of CSIR/NCL post/fellowship.

The interview will be conducted on 30th June 2021 from 10:00 AM onwards on-line.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear before the Selection Committee for an online interview. For an online interview, a URL link will be given to list the candidate later by means of email on or before the 30th of June 2021.

No interview call letter will certainly be issued separately.
No TA/DA will certainly be admissible for appearing for the interview. Chosen applicants will need to sign up with duty immediately on receipt of the offer of engagement.

Emoluments:

1. Rs. 31000/ – + HRA to scholars who are selected via (a) National Eligibility Test CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant professorship) or (b) GATE or.
2. Rs. 25000/ – + HRA for others who do not fall under (I) above.

Job requirement:

The applicant needs to carry out mainly the following work:

1. Gene cloning, development of constructs for production of recombinant proteins.
2. Biochemical analysis of recombinant proteins.
3. Development of various formulations for biochemical applications.

Qualifications:

• Essential: M.Sc/ M.Tech in Biotechnology or M.Sc in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine Biotechnology/ Microbiology or any branch in Life Sciences from recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Desirable experience if any: The candidate needs to have a minimum of one year of experience in molecular biology such as gene cloning recombinant protein expression, purification, and also large scale production of recombinant proteins, downstream processing and characterization of recombinant proteins. Would prefer the applicants to have first-class in a recognized university.
