ICMR intends to engage in the following Non-Institutional scientific project human resource positions, totally on a temporary contract basis for its short-term research projects, being undertaken by IJMR Division at ICMR HQ.

18. Project Human Resource will normally be engaged originally for a duration of one year or less, and also continued additionally after annual review on the basis of their performance, depending upon the tenure of the project, availability of funds, functional requirements as well as approval of the competent authority. The maximum term of any type of Project Human Resource in any type of or multiple projects, with breaks or without breaks will be five years only. The concerned Project Investigator, Division.
    Head and also Head of the host Institute shall personally be responsible and also accountable for the continuation/ extension given if any without prior concurrence of the Director-General, ICMR to any kind of project human resource beyond 5 years either with or without breaks in any kind of or multiple projects.
19. ICMR reserves the right to terminate the project human resource even during the agreed contract period or extended contract period without assigning any type of reason.
20. Leave will be as per the ICMR’s policy for project human resources.
21. Candidate must submit his/her duly filled in application in the prescribed format with a.
    recent passport size colour photograph along with a detailed bio-data/C. V. and all pertinent documents; duly self-attested; in proof of his/her educational qualifications [all certificates as well as mark-sheets from 10th Std. onwards], working experience, age, caste and also photo-id [Aadhar Card/Indian Passport/PAN Card/Driving License] etc., within the scheduled date and also time for submission of application, failing which his/her candidature will certainly not be taken into consideration. Essential Qualification: 1st Class Master Degree in Life Sciences/ Biological Sciences with 4 years of research experience in the relevant field OR 2nd Class M.Sc. + PhD in Lie Sciences/ Biological Sciences with four years of research experience in the relevant field.

Desirable Qualification:

1. 2 Years Post Doc experience in biomedical subjects particularly in Health Research related areas.
2. Working experience in scholarly publications
3. Knowledge of computer applications or business intelligence tools/ data management /
   data synthesis/ report writing, data mining, writing popular articles/ working on databases.
