Research Associate position in DNA Nanotechnology
Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) invites applications for Research
Associate position in Structural DNA Nanotechnology for a research project funded by
Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission, Gandhinagar.
Duration: 1 year expected to start from 1st July 2021.

Job Description: The candidate will certainly be
needed to set up the experiments for conjugating multiple biological ligands to programmed DNA Nanodevices for interface with cells. He/she will also have the opportunity to develop lab skills (cell culture, making libraries, standard biochemical as well as molecular biology procedures). The applicant ought to be a highly motivated, continuous learner who has the ability to work independently.Eligibility: PhD in life sciences, with a good academic track record, publications, with not greater than 1 year of post-PhD experience with adequate background in cell biology/ microscopy. Candidates that have recently sent their PhD thesis are eligible to apply.
Remuneration: 36000 INR per month + 20% HRA.
