What you’ll do:

• Provide field application support and also training to the customers of Cytiva for Biacore, Akta, Typhoon imagers, LAS imagers, 2D and DIGE, flat-bed gel-based IEF as well as Western blotting and Genomics consumables.
• Provide field application support as well as training to the customers of Cytiva for Biacore, Akta, Typhoon imagers, LAS imagers, 2D as well as DIGE, flat-bed gel-based IEF and also Western blotting as well as Genomics consumables.
• Pre-sales presentations, demonstrations and also discussions of various products of Cytiva, creating a value proposition for Cytiva products.
• Participating in various conferences, workshops and symposia to promote Cytiva products and technologies. Planning as well as conducting workshops, roadshows and also various marketing activities across the region to generate sales leads as well as build a sales funnel.
• Conducting training courses for the internal teams to strengthen the technical competency of the sales team members. Assisting the commercial team to build and also maintain a healthy sales funnel by continuous customer engagement with technical and also scientific acumen.

What you are:

• Masters degree in Biotechnology/Biosciences/Biochemistry/ Life Sciences/Molecular Biology with more than 60% marks. PhD in Biotechnology/biochemistry/molecular biology/biology will be preferred.
• At the very least 3 years of experience in Laboratory work is needed. Practical knowledge of molecular biology, recombinant DNA technology and biophysical techniques are desirable.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Powerpoint as well as Excel) and also good communication skills are required.
• Experience with automated protein purification, protein characterization using Biacore/SPR and also Southern/Northern as well as Western blotting workflow with Chemiluminescence and also Fluorescence Imaging.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines, pharmacopoeia and ICH guidelines for impurity analysis, similarity assessment, and also potency assays will certainly be an included advantage.
• Knowledge of common molecular biology, as well as genomics techniques like PCR/RTPCR and nucleic acid extraction from various samples, is required. Knowledge of NGS workflow is desirable.
• Willing to travel (70% of the time) and work with various customers on the field.
