For Post I
Essential Qualification: MD or PhD degree with 1st Class Master Degree in
Microbiology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry from a recognized university with 4 years of experience in the associated field.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in Molecular Biology, Next Generation Sequencing, Hands-on experience with culture as well as DST of Mycobacterium, Knowledge of
Computer Applications or data Management, One year experience in RNTCP work.
Next Gen Sequencing Certification Course
For Post II
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. Degree (Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry).
Research Experience: Minimum 2 years (Post M.Sc.).
Desirable Qualification: Experience in Mycobacteriology Laboratory with good exposure to LJ & MGIT960 culture, Genexpert as well as molecular techniques.
For Post III
Essential Qualification: B.Sc. (Microbiology).
Desirable Qualification: Experience in clinical/Microbiology research.
