POSITION SUMMARY:
FAS position is responsible for driving the Technical and also Scientific knowledge in daily activities working closely with Customers and also commercial teams for providing complete customer care solutions. This position takes ownership in driving the customer and also enhances the experience in using Genexpert Instruments and Assays available on the platform. Implementing core Values of Danaher & Cepheid in daily activities for successful results.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the Sales team with pre-and also post-sale technical activities with a primary emphasis on growing the user base of diagnostic products.
- Provides technical direction and also support to customers on instrument operation, assay implementation, and also maintenance of company products.
- Establishes key matrix and also successfully generates the revenue targets for the region allocated.
- Makes technical presentations and conducts product demonstrations for customers. Works closely with Sales and Marketing, Technical Support and Service to identify and assess customer needs and provide high-quality customer care.
- Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques and also evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Creates formal networks with key contacts outside of the area of expertise, including coordination among groups. Acts independently to determine methods and also procedures on new or special assignments.

TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and promptly.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education and also Experience (in years):
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related work experience OR
- Master’s degree in field with 0-2 years of related work experience.
Desired:
- Approximate. 5 years in Diagnostics.
- Masters in Biology/Biotechnology/Clinical Microbiology.
- Clinical Lab emphasis along with experience in molecular and microbiology techniques.
- Technical support and sales experience is a must.
- Molecular Biology and RT PCR concepts understanding is a must.
- Need to have experience working in the field as this role requires a high degree of travel and is field-based.
Knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge of Cepheid’s diagnostic testing products and market.
- Exceptional technological presentation skills for group and also one-on-one presentations.
- Integrates with the sales team in planning and also executing account strategies, numbers-driven approach.
- Networks with the scientific community to grow the business.
- Project Management.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead a group.
- Excellent communication abilities– both written and also verbal.
Physical requirements/abilities:
- Ability to lift 16 Kg.
Other:
- Results-driven and also self-motivated with a demonstrated capability to achieve measurable goals.
- Capability to travel up to 80% with overnight stays (valid driving license).
- English proficiency required.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- A Master’s Degree with experience in Molecular Biology is an advantage.
- Diagnostic industry experience of 3-5 years.
