Project Title: Hospital Based Cancer Registry (HBCR) in Sources of Registration of Already
Existing Population Based Cancer Registries (PBCRs) through NCDIR (ICMR), Bengaluru

Project Funded by: ICMR-NCDIR

Duration of the project: 1 year (extendable up to 3 years)

Age Limit: 35 years

2. The appointment under the project shall be on a “contract basis” originally for a duration of one year, further extendable as much as 3 years on the basis of individual performance.
3. The effective date for reckoning the requisite qualification, experience and the upper age limit will certainly be 29.03.2021.
4. Only shortlisted candidates will certainly be called for written test/interview/skill test in the Institute. The shortlisted candidates will be required to bring all their photocopies of degree/certificate/diploma/ testimonials along with their printed application form.

Consolidated Salary: Rs 32,000/- (consolidated monthly remuneration).

Essential Qualification: Post Grad in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Zoology or any other pertinent discipline from a recognized institution
OR
Grad in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Zoology or any other relevant discipline from a recognized institution with 5 years of experience.

Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of use of computer software, qualitative and also
quantitative data analysis, data collection, documentation, data entry, data cleaning, as well as data transcription. Preference will certainly be given to candidates with hospital-based experience.

Job description:

1. To collect and also update demographic, clinical, treatment, and also follow up details of all cancer patients registered in ILBS under the guidance of PI.
2. To maintain records of data related to the project on cancer registry
3. To update data of patients with cancer on the cancer registry website.
4. To attend workshops related to the project on cancer registry within the nation.
