WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR ENGAGEMENT OF PROJECT ASSOCIATE-I
ON 1ST APRIL 2021
Eligible and also interested applicants might attend the walk-in-interview for engagement of Project Associate-I on a totally temporary basis in an externally funded project tenable at CSIR-CIMAP Research Centre, Bengaluru. The eligibility criterion is as follows:

Maximum Age Limit: 35 yrs.
How to Apply:
- Engagement will certainly be originally for a period of one year, and also may be extended or curtailed depending upon the project requirement, and also desired level performance or conduct of the incumbent, as the case may be.
- The period of project staff shall be co-terminated with the project. However, under no circumstances the period would be allowed to exceed a five-year duration. The performance of Project Associate/ Sr. Project. Associate/JRF would be reviewed periodically so that any kind of one not found up to the mark, could be ended.
- The position is just short-term as well as, consequently, will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit on any type of post in CSIR-CIMAP.
- The upper age limit as mentioned above will certainly be as on date of the interview which is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/persons with disabilities as well as OBC applicants.
- Special age relation in case of Widows, Divorced women as well as women judicially separated from their husbands, that are not remarried based on guidelines.
- In conclusion of the tenure in one project, in case, one wants to make an application for engagement in an additional project, he/she will need to go with the process of selection by submitting a fresh application under the brand-new project. Engagement of the Project Staff under the new project would be made just after submission of resignation and also “No Demand Certification” in the previous project.
- The Project Associate shall be allowed to avail leave according to guidelines.
- Applicants are asked to be present at 09.00 AM for enrolment.
- Final semester and result awaited candidates will not be enabled to appear for interview.
- Interested candidates might appear before the Committee on 1st April 2021 at 10.00 AM at CSIR-CIMAP Research Centre, Bengaluru along with their signed Bio-Data (downloaded from web site) with original as well as attested copies of mark sheets/ certificates and a current passport size photograph. No TA will be admissible.
Stipend per month: Rs.31,000/- plus 24 percent HRA for CSIR/UGC/ ICAR/DBT – NET/JRF/LS/ GATE qualified applicant OR Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA for Others.
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology.
Desirable Qualifications: Working experience in yeast biology.
