Applications are invited from eligible applicants for the following post (purely. contractual) on consolidated salary in the project “Task force on rapid methods for antimicrobial susceptibility testing at point-of-care” under the Division of Epidemiology as well as Communicable Diseases (ECD-ID.

How to apply:
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Interview will certainly be conducted for the eligible applicants.
Nonetheless, if even more number of candidates are located eligible for the post advertised, Written Test/Skill Test may also be conducted on the very same day prior to the final round of Interview.
The applicants need to bring 5 copies of CV in addition to all original certificates of

Salary: Non Medical – Rs. 51,000/- (representing PB-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600.
Essential Qualification: First-class Master’s degree in the relevant subjects from a
recognized university with 4 years R & D experience in the relevant subject after 1st class master’s degree.
Or
2nd class M.Sc + PhD degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university with 4 years R&D/ teaching experience in the relevant subject after M.Sc + PhD.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Preferably PhD in Microbiology and/or MPH.
- Previous experience of working in clinical microbiology lab/program.
- Prior experience of writing guidelines, reports, Scientific documents.
Nature of Duties:
- Prep work of SOP/Guidelines/annual reports.
- Undertake of activities of AMR unit as assigned.
- Participate & contribute to project review meetings, workshops website visits, undertake desk reviews and also analysis.
- Conversant with basic computer programs.
- Other pertinent work assigned by the program officer.
