Applications are welcomed from talented as well as motivated candidates for working in recently sanctioned Environment-related Grant in Aid Project at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar. The title of the project is “Development of Particulate organic carbon (POC) Algorithm in the water of Arabian Sea” sponsored by SAC (ISRO), Ahmedabad.
The project has extensive fieldwork/ boat sampling. The number of positions is tentative and also can vary at the time of interview. The details of the post are as follows:

28 years * (For Junior Research Fellow).

Essential Qualification JRF: Post Graduate Degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Scholars that are selected via National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) as well as GATE.
- The selection procedure through National level exams conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies as well as Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Essential Qualification PA: Post Graduate Degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences.
Desirable Qualifications:The chosen applicant will have to work on the above-stated project and also as part of the project; extensive fieldwork can be required.
Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA (per month, for both JRF & PA -I).
