Job Purpose: The ideal applicant will certainly guarantee the smooth operating of multiple cell-based as well as biochemical assays while maintaining the highest quality and also the integrity of data and meeting established timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to research scientists in regards to planning and executing molecular and/or cellular lab experiments as well as interpreting results.
- Perform Cell-based assays like Luminescence, fluorescence, FRET, radio assays, etc.
- Follow environment, health, and also safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and also lab/plant safety
- Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company
Educational Qualification: M.Sc in Life sciences or related field.
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Skilled in mammalian cell culture. Experience in handling primary cells (PBMC, splenocytes, cardiomyocytes, etc.) is an added advantage
- Cell-based assays: Advanced skills in one or more of the following assay techniques:
- Plate based assays – Luminescence, fluorescence, FRET, radio assays
- 2nd messenger assays – cAMP, Ca2+, IP3, phosphorylation
- Immunoassays – ELISA, WB, Immunostaining
- Flow cytometry, Hi-content imaging
- qPCR assays
- Transient transfections/ reporter gene assays
- Exceptional pipetting skills. Experience with automated liquid handling systems an added advantage
- Experience as well as good knowledge on assay QC parameter
Experience: 1– 6 Years of pertinent experience post qualification.
Behavioural Abilities: Good oral, written communication and presentation abilities to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
