Duration: The engagement of the individual in the above post will be on contract basis co-terminus with the duration of the project as well as would certainly be engaged up to 31.8.2021, however, the period of engagement can be curtailed/extended by the competent authority at the sole discretion.

Place of work: ICMR Headquarters, V. Ramalingaswami Bhawan, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi- 110 029

Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years

The Terms & Conditions for the post are as follows:

1. The post is to be filled only on a purely short-term basis and will be for the duration of the project with continuation being granted each year based upon performance.
2. The appointment can be ended with one month notification from either side without.
   assigning any reason.
3. Since the post is totally temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
4. Benefits of provident fund, HRA, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. are
   not applicable.
5. The experience will certainly be counted only after completion of essential educational
   qualification. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not ensure selection
   for the interview call and/or selection.
6. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
7. Persons currently in regular time scale service under any Government Department
   / Organization are not qualified to apply.
8. Consolidated salary of the post might be revised according to ICMR instructions.
9. The chosen candidate will work in the project mentioned over, and also on any other
   work that may be assigned by the Principal Investigator every so often.
10. The result of the finally chosen candidate will be placed on the ICMR web site ONLY. No intimation will certainly be sent by email or phone.
11. The appointing authority has the right to accept/ reject any kind of application without
    assigning any type of reason( s) as well as no correspondence in this matter will certainly be entertained. Age, qualification, experience etc., will certainly be reckoned as on 15th June 2020.

Essential Qualifications:

1st class Bachelor’s degree in Science/relevant subject from a recognized college with 3 years of work experience in the related field from a recognized institution

Or

Master’s degree in the appropriate field
