Project Title: “Indo-UK centre for improvement of Nitrogen use efficiency in wheat”
Emoluments:
- Rs. 40,000 + 30 percent HRA for PhD and
- Rs. 38,000 + 30 percent HRA for MSc Degree
Qualifications:
- Essential: PhD Degree in Bioinformatics or MSc degree in Bioinformatics having 1st division or 60 percent marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience in the relevant area. NET or equivalent national level examination qualification is essential for candidates with 3+2 years (BSc + MSc pattern)Two years experience in crop/fungal genome NGS analysis with demonstrated skills and publications.
- Desirable: One or more experience in molecular biology techniques.
How to Apply:
- The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The selected candidate will have no right to claim for regularization and absorption in ICAR-NBPGR.
- No TA/DA will be compensated.
- Candidates need to bring along four copies of their bio-data (in the format given below) along with original certificates and other testimonials for verification and submit self-attested copy, original marks card with a self-attested copy of each of the documents/certificates and one recent passport size photo along with the application form. Biodata should be typed on plain paper, stating number, address, date of birth, educational qualifications and experience etc.
- No TA/DA will be compensated for attending the interview.
