Applications are Encouraged in the format for University Research Fellowship in the Qualified candidates Registered in Various Departments and Centres of the University of Calcutta.

This fellowship is financed by the Government of West Bengal vide G.O. no. 01(19)-Edn(U)/1U-10/94 dated Kolkata 4th January 2016. The quantity of fellowship is consolidated Rs. 18,000/p.m. for JRF and Rs. 20,000/for SRF.

Qualification:

1. Registration in Ph.D. programme under University of Calcutta.
2. Successful eligibility in NET/GATE/SET Examination.

Other Significant terms & conditions:

1. No House Rent Allowance will be provided.
2. No contingency will be allowed to person student/scholar.
3. The duration of the fellowship is for 4(four) years only, extendable Up to one more year only in deserving cases.
