WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
Walk-in-interview is proposed to be held at this Institute on 06.07.2017 (Thursday) at 10. A.M. to fill up the following temporary posts:
Position 1
Name of the project and number of Posts : NASF funded Project, “Potential gene mining from salt tolerant grasses for improvement of stress tolerance in crops”
(SRF-Two)
Remuneration/ Duration of the project : Rs. 25000/-p.m + HRA for 1st and nd
2 year Rs. 28000/-+ HRA for 3rd year Upto May,2020
Essential/Desirable Qualifications :
Essential : Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Biochemistry (M. Sc degree completed with thesis work in partial fulfillment of degree program) with I” division of 60% marks or equivalent OGPA with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree.
OR
Candidates with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree with I st division or 60% or equivalent OGPA in above mentions subjects should be NET qualified
OR
Ph.D in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Biochemistry
Desirable :
• Experience of working in molecular techniques
• Knowledge of operating bioinformatics tools
Position 2
Name of the project and number of Posts : CCAFS-CIMMYT Research project “Developing and defining climate smart agriculture practices portfolios in south asia.
Intern (Two)
Remuneration/ Duration of the project : Rs. 15000/-p.m upto December, 2017
Essential/Desirable Qualifications :
Essential : M.Sc. in Environmental Science/Microbiology.
Desirable :
• One year experience of analysis of soil chemical and microbial properties.
• Experience of working in CA based climate smart agriculture.
• Knowledge of Green House Gas (CHG) estimation.
Age Limit : For SRF 35 years for men and 40 years for women candidates
Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates
• The selection will be made on co-terminus basis of the respective project not exceeding the duration/period or a part of the period of the scheme
• No T AIDA will be paid for appearing in walk-in-interview
Note : Copies of the provisional/original certificates/degree of qualification (from IO’h), viva-voce of Ph.D and experience certificates are mandatory with the application
