Applications are invited for the temporary position of JRF for the research project entitled ‘Traditional Knowledge System- Network Programme on Convergence of Traditional Knowledge systems for integration to Sustainable Development in the Himalayan Region” funded by DST (GOI), New Delhi.
Job Title : Junior Research Fellow/Project Associate (JRF/PA)
Age Limit (As on the date of interview) : Shall not be more than 28 years
Age relaxation (if any) : Age limit is relaxable by five years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women and Physically Challenged applicants.
Monthly Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for NET qualified candidates.
Rs. 16,000/ + HRA for non-NET candidates
Duration : Max 3 years / co-terminus with the project
Essential Qualification, Desirable Qualification : M.Sc. in Life Science / Environmental Sc/Forestry/ Ethano botany / Anthropology/ from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualification : Knowledge and experience in TKS and working experience in survey
Nature of work: Project work will include documentation, extensive field survey in Himalayan valley, their validation and report writing during project duration.
