NIFTEM Recruitment: Job Description
Under this NIFTEM recruitment, the selected candidate will be involved in the establishment of the CFRA, NIFTEM-K as a proficiency testing provider for fortified foods. Responsibilities will include ensuring quality assurance and management in testing laboratories, as well as participating in proficiency testing programs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualifications: M.Sc / M.Tech in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Food Technology with 2 years of relevant experience or B.Sc/B.Tech with Chemistry as a subject and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Quality Assurance, Quality Management System, testing laboratory, PT/ILC programme, or a related field.
- Training: Internal Auditing as per ISO/IEC 17043:2023 for Proficiency Testing Providers.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (relaxation of 5 years for women/SC/ST/OBC/differently abled as per the Govt. of India Rules).
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17043:2023 and requirements applicable to proficiency testing providers.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, particularly in relation to laboratory testing.
- Understanding of document control, internal audit, nonconformity, corrective action, risk management, and continual improvement.
- Basic understanding of proficiency testing programme planning, item handling, and result evaluation.
- Training in internal auditing of management systems, preferably ISO/IEC 17043/17025.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, data management, and quality record/report preparation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for interaction with participants and technical personnel.
- Ability to prepare and maintain SOPs, quality records, and audit documents.
