Your New Role

As an Associate Clinical Data Programmer in Data Standards & Integration (DSI), the successful candidate will play a central role in designing, building, and maintaining clinical study databases and data pipelines that power clinical trials. This position directly enables the generation of high-quality data that supports regulatory submissions and helps deliver medicines to patients who need them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and setting up study databases (EDC and CDMS build) leading to SDTM data generation for clinical trials of medium to high complexity.
  • Developing, configuring, and maintaining API-based data ingestion pipelines to securely acquire data from external vendors and third-party systems into the NextGen data platform.
  • Acquiring, transforming, harmonising, and integrating raw clinical data from multiple external sources to ensure seamless data availability for downstream consumers.
  • Performing configurations and transformational updates within the next-generation framework to establish standardised data flows and a single source of truth.
  • Executing and documenting User Acceptance Testing to ensure databases meet specification requirements before deployment into production.
  • Monitoring daily data loads across relevant systems, troubleshooting error incidents, and supporting internal stakeholders and vendors through the Managed File Transfer process.
  • Promoting the exchange of best practices within the organisation and ensuring learnings are implemented in forthcoming trials and projects.

Your Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of protocol design, CRF standards, InForm/Veeva terminologies, EDC data structures, GxP practices, and medical terminology.
  • Basic knowledge of AI & ML concepts to contribute to automation initiatives.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills, the ability to prioritize competing demands, and fluency in written and spoken English.
