Job Description
The Project Associate I will contribute to the ANRF-funded project titled “Exploration of the Functional Significance of Mucin 20 and Gut Microbiota in Colorectal Cancer and their Impact on Therapy Resistance.” This Life Science Research Job involves conducting research and experiments that will further the understanding of cancer biology and therapeutic resistance. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in biochemistry or biotechnology research.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments related to colorectal cancer research.
- Maintain human cancer cell cultures and perform molecular biology techniques.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on research findings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Participate in discussions and presentations regarding research progress.
- Assist in the training of junior researchers and interns.
- Ensure compliance with safety and ethical standards in the laboratory.

Eligibility Criteria

- Experience in mice handling is desirable.

Emolument:
- ₹ 37,000/- + HRA (for NET qualified candidates)
- ₹ 30,000/- + HRA (for non-NET qualified candidates)
Duration: Initially for a period of one year or till termination of the project, whichever is earlier, and extendable based on performance evaluation.
