Job Description
The Senior Executive in Downstream Process Development will play a crucial role in optimizing and validating bioprocesses. This position involves working on purification processes, including optimizing Protein A capture, viral inactivation, and polishing techniques. The selected candidate will also be responsible for scale-up and validation efforts, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining high-quality outputs. Key Responsibilities
- Optimize purification processes, including Protein A capture and viral inactivation.
- Conduct resin screening and load optimization for columns.
- Control critical process parameters (CPPs) to meet critical quality attributes (CQA) targets.
- Design and execute process characterization and robustness studies.
- Write protocols for tech transfer to GMP manufacturing.
- Support and execute Viral Clearance Studies (VCS).
- Maintain accurate lab records and ensure data integrity following ALCOA+ principles.
- Author SOPs, technical reports, and deviations for regulatory compliance.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess an M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Biotechnology or related fields, with 4-6 years of relevant experience in downstream process development.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in purification processes and techniques.
- Experience with ÄKTA systems and Unicorn software.
- Knowledge of ICH QSA guidelines and viral clearance validation.
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in analytical SEC and CEX.
