Job Description
The selected intern will assist in developing and evaluating functional ingredient blends for various food applications. This role involves conducting hands-on laboratory trials across categories such as dairy beverages, ice cream, and bakery premixes. The intern will also prepare formulations and samples while maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure compliance with good laboratory practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and evaluating functional ingredient blends for food applications.
- Conduct hands-on laboratory trials for categories including dairy beverages, ice cream, bakery premixes, sweetener blends, batter & coating systems, and other customised food solutions.
- Prepare formulations, samples, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Document trial results, formulations, and technical records accurately.
- Support sample preparation and dispatch.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, and Production teams for raw material and sample management.
- Maintain laboratory documentation and ensure compliance with good laboratory practices.
Eligibility Criteria
- Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in food product development and hands-on laboratory work.
- Good documentation, communication, and MS Office skills.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and eager to learn.
