Job Description
The selected candidate for the junior research fellow jobs will engage in significant research activities at NIT Rourkela. The JRF will be responsible for planning and managing various project activities, performing wet-laboratory experiments, and collecting, analyzing, and documenting research data. Additionally, the JRF will help develop, train, validate, and optimize AI models, integrating and validating multimodal gene-expression datasets while assisting in writing scientific research papers.

Generative AI-Driven Model for Prediction and Early Diagnosis of Cancers Using Multimodal Data Integration, with Special Emphasis on Epigenomic Data Generated from Breast Tissues—Healthy, Apparently Healthy and Tumour Tissues
Salary
Period: Monthly Salary
First and Second Year: ₹37,000 per month
Third Year: ₹42,000 per month

Essential Qualification
Candidates must have:
- M.Sc with NET or GATE qualification.
- Hands-on research experience in project management.
- Experience in molecular biology experiments.
- Knowledge of AI model development and validation.
- Experience in integrating multimodal gene-expression data.

- Experience in managing laboratory supplies and inventory.
