IQVIA Clinical Research Job Description
Under general direction, the Assoc Lab Project Svcs Mgr in this IQVIA clinical research role will manage all laboratory aspects of assigned clinical trial projects for a customer or a specific program. This role serves as the main point of contact for the customer after study award and throughout the entire study lifecycle, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and good practices. The position involves facilitating seamless study setup, monitoring project management plans, and maintaining proactive lines of communication with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate study setup and planning, including protocol and budget review.
- Monitor study activity and closeout, managing documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain customer relationships, addressing study-specific issues.
- Represent the company at Investigator meetings and provide training to sites and customers.
- Participate in audits and inspections as required.
- Assist in training less experienced staff.
- Manage study scope changes and monitor budget quality.
- Collaborate with operational areas within the company to ensure project success.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of clinical or research industry experience, including project management experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and customer management skills.
- Working knowledge of medical and clinical research terminology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant laboratory systems.
- Experience in leading Phase I-IV clinical trials preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
