- Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

- Research Project Title: Optical Tracing and Inhibition of Metastatic Tumor with Metal Quantum Clusters
- Principal Investigator: Dr. Asifkhan Shanavas, Scientist-E
- Age Limit: Candidates must not be over 28 years as on 17 August 2026, with relaxations applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India rules.
- Project Duration: Up to the end of the project tenure, i.e., 08 January 2027. Selected candidates should be able to join immediately upon selection.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess an M.Sc in Life Sciences or an M.Tech in Biotechnology/Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. Additionally, candidates should have qualified one of the following examinations: (A) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE. (B) National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Desirable Experience
Prior working experience in synthetic chemistry or experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
Fellowship: ₹37,000/- (per month) + HRA (as applicable)
