- Tenure: The initial offer will be for six months and renewable subject to satisfactory performance. The position is temporary and coterminus with the project.
Minimum Qualification & Experience
- Essential: Four years Bachelor’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering/Biotechnology from a recognized University or equivalent and four years’ experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions or S&T organizations.
- OR Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (Biological Sciences) from a recognized university or equivalent and two years’ experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions or S&T organizations.
- OR Doctoral Degree in Life Science / Bio-Engineering / Biotechnology from a recognized University or equivalent with at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication indexed in a public database such as PubMed, SCOPUS, etc.
- Desirable: Experience in infectious disease research, mammalian cell culture, handling of pathogenic viruses, protein expression and purification, molecular biology techniques.
Monthly Emoluments: INR 57,000/- + 10% HRA
