Job Description
The Project Associate-I role involves extensive work in C. elegans genetics, fluorescence imaging, behavioral assays, and molecular biology. Candidates must have documented experience in handling C. elegans, setting up genetic crosses, conducting behavioral assays, and performing fluorescence imaging. Additionally, hands-on experience in molecular biology (PCR) and/or cell biology (studying mitochondrial dynamics using fluorescence imaging) is desirable.
Educational Qualifications
M.Sc. in any area of Life Sciences with a good academic record. Candidates must have completed a 6-month training in a research laboratory during their Master’s degree.
Emoluments
Rs. 25,000/- per month plus 30% HRA (as per DST OM dated 10 July 2020).
