Job Details:
- Position: Consultant – Certification Unit (Quality and Patient Safety Division)
- Work Location: New Delhi
- Contract Duration: Till 31st March 2028, with possible extensions based on performance.

- Remuneration Range: Between Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 1,20,000/-

Job Description
The consultant will play a crucial role in supporting the Quality and Patient Safety Division at NHSRC. This position involves managing quality assessments of public health facilities under the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS). The consultant will be responsible for conducting national-level assessments, managing data for analysis, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure effective certification activities. This role requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to quality improvement in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in conducting national-level assessments from application receipt to result declaration.
- Manage data for preparation of fact sheets and datasets for analysis.
- Oversee the implementation of quality certification in healthcare IT.
- Monitor certification-related activities to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare final reports for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
- Liaise with officials and external assessors for effective management of certification activities.
- Coordinate training for national-level external assessors.
- Prepare certification guidelines and resource materials.
Eligibility Criteria
- Full-time regular bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) and full-time regular postgraduate qualifications (minimum 2 years) are required.
- Possess B.Sc (Hons.) in Biotechnology/Applied Sciences with a postgraduate diploma/degree in Hospital Management/Public Health.
- Two years of post-qualification experience is mandatory.
- At least one year of experience in NQAS implementation in public health facilities.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in IT tools, including Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
