Role Summary:
This role will be responsible for core activities in Facilities & Operations of cell & gene therapies and lentivirus, including CAR T manufacturing, GMP documentation, GMP equipment oversight, inventory management, QMS compliance, and supplier communications. The trainee will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of product processes.
Job Description
The freshers biotech job at Immuneel Therapeutics involves engaging in various tasks essential for the successful manufacturing of cell and gene therapies. This includes material handling, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive raw materials, consumables, and equipment from approved vendors.
- Coordinate with QA for material release.
- Store materials according to specified conditions (ambient, 2–8°C, -20°C, -80°C, or liquid nitrogen, as applicable).
- Label materials with appropriate status (Quarantine, Released, Rejected, Expired).
- Maintain segregation of released and quarantined materials.
- Perform routine stock verification and cycle counts.
- Assist in annual physical inventory reconciliation.
- Track inventory levels and notify supervisors of low stock.
Eligibility Criteria
- Freshers or those with experience in relevant areas of Facilities & Operations in Biotech, Hospital, or similar industries.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic environment with cross-functional and contract teams.
- Educational Qualification – Advanced Science / Engineering degree preferred.
Required Skills
- Aseptic processing techniques.
- Basic understanding of GMP, GDP, and GDocP.
- Familiarity with warehouse and inventory management principles.
- Good documentation and record-keeping practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork.
- GMP working knowledge.
Working Conditions:
- Role Type: Full-time and Onsite
- Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM for the General Shift and 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM for the Post-Noon Shift (on a rotational basis).
- Trainee Tenure: The traineeship period is for a duration of 11 months.
