Job Description
The Project Associate will play a vital role in supporting project management activities to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials. Responsibilities include coordinating project tasks, maintaining documentation, communicating with stakeholders, and managing timelines and budgets. This role may involve working at the Sr. Project Associate level within a large project team or on smaller projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Drives the planning and execution of clinical trials in partnership with the Project Lead.
- Ensures projects adhere to strict timelines and are delivered within budget.
- Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for efficient project execution.
- Conducts ongoing analysis of project performance to achieve short and long-term goals.
- Maintains and distributes study-specific financial reports, contributing to financial health.
- Documents project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
- Leads communication between project team members, ensuring all parties are informed.
- Documents and escalates project risks and issues, driving timely follow-through.
- Drives quality assurance activities, including preparation for audits and internal reviews.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience is required.
- Knowledge of Clinical Trial Systems, CTMS, TMF, PDC, and SOPNet.
- Understanding of Good Clinical Practice/ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time independently.
- High proficiency with MS Office Applications and project management software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel if necessary (approximately 5%).
- Effective verbal and writing skills in English.
