The Centre for Stem Cell Research, (a translational unit of BRIC inStem Bengaluru) located at Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore, is a premier research centre internationally recognised for advancing stem cell and gene therapies , through translational research and conducting clinical trials in the area of cell and gene therapy. CSCR focuses on research in the area of stem cells, gene therapy, gene editing, CART cell therapy and mRNA therapeutics while fostering collaborations between academia, healthcare, and industry. Through initiatives like CGTCON 2026, the CSCR continues to engage with international and national experts in the area of stem cells and gene therapy, promote scientific innovation, knowledge exchange, industry collaborations.
