Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Doctorate Degree in Natural Sciences or Agricultural Sciences,
OR
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognised University or equivalent.
Additionally, candidates should have:
- At least one of the following subjects at Graduate and subsequent levels:
- Natural Science
- Mathematics
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of German, Japanese, Russian, or another modern European language in addition to English.
- Postdoctoral research in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or a Doctorate in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine with publications in SCI journals.
- Experience in interdisciplinary Science & Technology areas with emphasis on:
- Copyrights
- Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
- Patents
- Inventions
Experience Required
Applicants must have:
- 12 years’ experience in Research & Development in:
- Industrial Institutions
- Academic Institutions
- Science & Technology Organizations
- Scientific Activities & Services
Out of which:
- 6 years should be in a managerial capacity involving:
- Science & Technology Programme Management
- Planning
- Development
- Cooperation
Applicants should also fulfil one of the following service conditions:
- Holding an analogous post on a regular basis,

- Two years’ regular service in Level 13,

- Six years’ regular service in Level 12.
