Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • Doctorate Degree in Natural Sciences or Agricultural Sciences,

OR

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognised University or equivalent.

Additionally, candidates should have:

  • At least one of the following subjects at Graduate and subsequent levels:
    • Natural Science
    • Mathematics
    • Information Technology
    • Computer Science

Desirable Qualifications

  • Knowledge of German, Japanese, Russian, or another modern European language in addition to English.
  • Postdoctoral research in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or a Doctorate in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine with publications in SCI journals.
  • Experience in interdisciplinary Science & Technology areas with emphasis on:
    • Copyrights
    • Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
    • Patents
    • Inventions

Experience Required

Applicants must have:

  • 12 years’ experience in Research & Development in:
    • Industrial Institutions
    • Academic Institutions
    • Science & Technology Organizations
    • Scientific Activities & Services

Out of which:

  • 6 years should be in a managerial capacity involving:
    • Science & Technology Programme Management
    • Planning
    • Development
    • Cooperation

Applicants should also fulfil one of the following service conditions:

  • Holding an analogous post on a regular basis,

OR

  • Two years’ regular service in Level 13,

OR

  • Six years’ regular service in Level 12.
