Key Responsibilities
- Execute a variety of microbiological tests, including bacterial enumeration, identification, and sterility testing of food, water, and environmental samples.
- Prepare media, reagents, and samples for analysis following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as incubators, autoclaves, microscopes, and spectrophotometers.
- Document all test results accurately, maintaining detailed laboratory records.
- Interpret test results and identify any deviations or anomalous findings.

- Participate in internal and external proficiency testing programs.

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
- 2-6 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory setting, preferably in a testing or quality control environment.
Skills Required
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of microbiological techniques.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and good laboratory practices (GLP).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
