Job Description
The Manager Technical role at Hershey involves overseeing the production lines for Tetra Pak and syrup products. This position is crucial for ensuring safety, quality assurance, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Safety, food safety & compliance: Ensure strict adherence to EHS, GMP, allergen/chemical controls, and safe operating procedures.
- Deliver production plan (SQDC): Execute daily/weekly plans to meet output, service levels, yield, and cost targets.
- Quality assurance in operations: Ensure in-process controls and packaging integrity are followed.
- Equipment reliability & performance: Own line efficiency and reduce breakdowns through Autonomous Maintenance execution.
- People leadership & shift governance: Lead staff through communication, coaching, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should possess a Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Food Technology or equivalent.
- Preferred certifications include Food Safety (GMP/HACCP) and TPM/Lean.
- A minimum of 3–7 years of experience in FMCG/Food manufacturing is required, with at least 1–2 years in a shift/line handling role.
Required Skills
- Technical/Process knowledge: Understanding of beverage and syrup processing fundamentals.
- Quality systems: Awareness of GMP, HACCP/CCP, and hygiene practices.
- Maintenance & reliability: Knowledge of line components and troubleshooting.
