Job Description
The QA Executive will play a vital role in the vertical startup of PC 32 Y 21 lines at the Channo plant, ensuring the production of high-quality products and fostering a quality culture within the facility. Responsibilities include:
- Stabilizing shift quality operations and ensuring KPIs such as WIP, leakages, and zero red complaints.
- Implementing stringent online quality control checks and finished product inspections to minimize customer complaints.
- Maintaining compliance with GMP, GHK, GLP, and conducting internal and external audits (HACCP, AIB, Personal Hygiene, Process audit).
- Training and developing quality checkers and ensuring the quality of potatoes issued for production.
Additionally, the QA Executive will conduct various tests and inspections to ensure that all production processes adhere to Pepsi Co’s quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting quality checks on potatoes and ensuring they meet standard specifications.
- Performing frying samples and conducting COOK tests to check for undesirable factors.
- Communicating with the Agro Department regarding picker requirements for specific lots.
- Conducting online quality checks in the process area and packaging area to ensure compliance with Frito Lay standards.
- Monitoring machines in the process and packaging area to minimize waste.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports for communication with stakeholders.
- Conducting regular quality wall meetings to discuss defects and corrective measures.
- Ensuring adherence to statutory laws and maintaining accurate records.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech in Food Technology.
- 3 to 5 years of exposure to food safety systems and ISO systems.
- Knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP, AIB, and TPM is preferred.
