Job Description
The Clinical Data Specialist will serve as a vital member of the project team, primarily responsible for conducting clinical data review, query generation, and resolution activities. This role supports the Data Management lead in delivering clinical data according to client quality specifications, project timelines, and productivity targets. The specialist will assist in developing the project Data Management Plan, including data review guidelines and eCRF specifications, and may contribute to setting up data management systems as per project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all allocated projects comply with relevant protocols, global SOPs, and GCP standards.
- Demonstrate the capability to follow study timelines for timely deliverables.
- Assist with study design inputs and suggest adjustments to timelines as needed.
- Review clinical trial data according to Data Management Plans and raise queries to resolve data issues.
- Execute additional programs to support clinical trial data review.
- Generate, resolve, and track queries addressing problematic data during reviews.
- Collaborate with project team members to maintain and close Data Management aspects of projects.
- Generate and QC data listings for internal reviews.
Eligibility Criteria
- University/college degree in life sciences, health sciences, information technology, or a related field.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Required Skills
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in data management with knowledge of therapeutic areas.
- Strong time management skills and adherence to project productivity metrics.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and effective clinical data management practices.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving attitude focused on deadlines.
- Familiarity with Fortrea’s standard operating procedures is preferred.
