Position Name: Project Assistant

Name of Project: “Mechanism of development of type-IFN mediated innate immunity
during Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection: Towards development of host-directed
therapeutics against tuberculosis”.
- First-class M.Sc. Biosciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Microbiology or any other
associated branch of Biology.
- Preference will certainly be offered to the applicant that has
demonstrated experience in protein biology, microbial culture as well as mammalian cell line work.
- Preference will also be given to NET/ICMR/DBT/ GATE certified candidates.
Emoluments: 17604/- Fixed per month
The age limit of the candidate: Below 28 years, Relaxation based on GOI policies
Duration of appointment: The position is for a duration of 4-year or until the
conclusion of the DBT Ramalingaswami funded project.
