Post: For Scientists (Ornithologist) Wetlands Programme

Job Description: Candidates will have to aid the wetland team in developing pan India
wetland programme and to carry out and coordinate field research work with wetland
conservation activities.

No of vacancy: 1

Preferred Educational and other Qualifications:

  1. M.Sc.in Wildlife Biology/Zoology/ Environmental Science/ life science with first-class
    and a minimum of 3-5 years of field experience.
  2. Ph D is preferable
  3. Sound knowledge of the wetland ecosystem and policies associated with wetlands
  4. Strong scientific writing and fundamental mapping and analytical skills
  5. Physically fit to embark on laborious fieldwork
  6. Able to work as a team and to have team building ability
  7. Prepared to work in Pan-India basis and ready for extensive travelling throughout India
  8. Publications in a peer-reviewed journal
  9. Sound knowledge of writing project proposals

Age Limit: Below 35 years.

Post: Junior Research Fellow (Ornithology) Wetlands Programme

Job Description: Candidate needs to have the capability to execute the scientific projects, writing reports, data analysis and have added knowledge concerning use information technology in wildlife studies.

No of vacancy: 1

Preferred Educational and other Qualifications:

M.Sc. in Life Sciences/ Zoology/ Environmental Science with at the very least 1 year field experience.

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Routine field surveys.
  2. Data compilation and analysis.
  3. Writing scientific reports and papers with fundamental mapping and analytical abilities.
  4. Writing project proposals.
  5. All set to work on Pan-India basis and ready for considerable travelling throughout India.
  6. To help the Project Scientist in general execution of the project.

Income: Rs. 22,000/- per month CTS.

Age Limit: Below 30 years.
