Job Description:
- Responsible for capturing accurately and assessing the relevant information of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) (such as serious and non-serious cases from unsolicited and solicited origin; and literature instances ( as necessary ) in the client’s database in accordance with client conventions/guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensuring MedDRA coding according to”MedDRA Term Selection: Points to Consider” document
- Assessing the expectedness of these events according to this company Reference Safety Information
- Writing company comments and assessing company causality
Qualifications:
- Health Professional (Masters in Pharmacy/Bachelor of Dental Surgery)
- Masters in Life Science (Microbiology/Biotechnology/Human Genomics/Biochemistry etc)
- Work with Web-based applications and familiarity with Windows Operating System and MS office suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Ability to make succinct, accurate and appropriate synopsis of medical text and data, and the ability to write unambiguous medical text.
