Amrita Center for Nanoscience and Molecular Medicine (ACNSMM) was established in early 2006 with a specific focus on developing cutting-edge translational research programs in Nanotechnology and Molecular Medicine. Nestled within the sprawling Amrita healthcare campus in Kochi, ACNSMM is India’s first Nanobio center and is now well-recognized nationally and internationally for its contributions in the field of nanomedicine, molecular medicine and energy science.
ACNSMM is affiliated to Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham university which is accredited by NAAC with A grade and selected as the No 1 private university by NIRF in the year 2018. Also, Amrita is ranked 168 among universities in Asia.

Amrita Centre for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine (ACNSMM) is one of a few premiere Centers of Nanotechnology under the Department of Science and Technology’s (DST) Nanomission program. This Centre was the first to offer these advanced and unique courses in the country with the support of DST. ACNSMM has one of the best research facilities in the country for advanced research in Nanotechnology and Molecular Medicine and is also attached to a major research-oriented hospital.
- ACNSMM harbors a multidisciplinary PhD faculty with extensive research training from various international universities
- Postgraduate students will be given hands-on research training with PhD scholars

Eligibility:
M.Tech Programs
- Nanobiotechnology:
Any M.Sc or B.Tech/BE or M.B.B.S/B.D.S /B. Pharm with at least 60% marks (or equivalent)
2. Molecular Medicine
Any M.Sc or B.Tech in Life Sciences or B.Pharm/M.B.B.S/B.D.S with at least 60% marks (or equivalent)
3. Nanoscience and Technology
M.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or B.Tech/B.E in any branch with at least 60% marks (or equivalent)
M.Sc Programs
- Nanobiotechnology:
Science Under Graduate or BE/B.Tech in any branch or MBBS/BDS/B.Pharm with at least 60% marks (or equivalent)
2. Molecular Medicine
Under Graduate, B.Tech or B.E Life Sciences or B.Pharm/M.B.B.S/B.D.S with at least 60% marks (or equivalent)
3. Nanoscience and Technology
B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or B.Tech/B.E in any branch with at least 60% marks (or equivalent)

Selection:
- The common entrance exam will be held at Kochi, Trivandrum, and Chennai.
