Project Name: ‘Generation of energy from microalgal feedstock through CO2 capture from flue gases’
(1 Post PA-III) Biotechnologist
Salary: Rs. 28000/- p.m. (fixed)
Essential Qualifications: 55 percent in M.Sc. In Biotechnology with 2 year’s experience.
Desirable Qualifications: Candidates with research experience favoured.
Job Requirement: Competence in microalgal cultivation, downstream processing of value added products, biofertilizer applications of deoiled biomass in the field.
(1 Post PA-II) Microbiologist
Salary: Rs. 25000/- p.m. (fixed)
Essential Qualifications: 55 percent in M.Sc. In Microbiology.
Desirable Qualifications: Candidates with research experience will be favoured.
Job Requirement: Competence in the upkeep of microalgal cultures, microalgal cultivation, environmental parameter analysis along withwater andSediment analysis.
Age: shouldn’t be over 30/35 years for PA-II/III, respectively on 4th April 2019 (Relaxation according to CSIR rules).

Interested candidates meeting the above requirements can attend the written exam followed by walk-in-interview with a copy of detailed biodata, original certificates together with their attested photocopies along with a passport size picture on 4th April 2019 at 9.30 A.M. at Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, G B Marg, Bhavnagar-364002. The selection of applicants will be carried out by conducting a screening exam followed by personal interview of those shortlisted candidates on precisely the same day. No TA/DA is going to be compensated for attending the interview.
These posts are only temporary and co-terminus together with the project. It might, consequently, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for asserting extension or absorption in CSMCRI/CSIR.
