Post I

Designation: Research Associate (One)

Project Name: “Deciphering osteopontin driven regulator(s) of negative metastasis in Breast triple Cancer using Dead Cas9-based tools”

Essential: PhD/MD/MS/MDS in any branch of life sciences or have three years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc /M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Desirable: The Candidate should have experience of working with molecular biology techniques and with laboratory animals is desired.

Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 36000/ pm + 30 percent HRA


Post II

Designation: Research Associate III (One)

Project Name: “Understanding the transmission of antibiotic resistance between hospitals and the environment”.

Essential: PhD/MD/MS/MDS in any branch of life sciences or have three years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc /M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Desirable: The candidate should have one year research experience post PhD in Antimicrobial resistance, microbial genomics and /or metagenomics. Experience in statistical/mathematical modelling will be an added advantage.

Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 40000/ pm + 30 percent HRA


Post III

Designation: Research Associate (One)

Project Name: “COE: Structural perspective of molecular interaction in pathogenicity role of regulatory protein of HIV-1 and Heat ShockProteins of M. Tuberculosis”.

Essential: PhD/MD/MS/MDS in any branch of life sciences or have three years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc /M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Desirable: The candidate should have experience in data collection, diffraction and X-ray crystallography. 3 years post PhD experience.

Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 36,000 + 30 percent HRA pm

Essential: M.Sc. or equivalent degree with a minimum of 55% marks in any branch of life sciences. Candidate should have qualified NET/GATE/LS /BET exam.

Desirable: The candidate should have a good academic record with prior research experience with handling antibiotic resistance cultures. Well versed with various molecular biology tools and techniques. Experience bioinformatics analysis of 16S amplicon data. Good written and oral communication skills.

Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/- plus 30 % HRA

Project Name: “Quest for Cancer drugs: Screening and Bioassay guided phytochemical investigation of selected endemic medicinal plants of Eastern Himalaya”.
