Job: Project-SRF (01)
Project Title: “Understanding role(s) of post-translational modifications by SUMO in regulation, trigger and execution of effector-triggered immunity in plants”.
Duration: For a period of 1 year (Feb, 2019-Feb, 2020)
Principal Investigator: Dr. Saikat Bhattacharjee, Assistant Professor, RCB
Fellowship per month: Rs. 25,000 + 30 percent HRA.
Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional course with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course. In addition, two years of research experience is required.
Essential Skills: The candidate must have hands-on experience with growth and
propagation of plants, and basic molecular biology techniques such as DNA, RNA isolations, routine PCRs and cloning.

Interview Date and Time: Candidates will be required to appear for the interview in person on 27th February 2019 at 11:30 am. Candidates arriving after 12:00 noon will not be considered.
Note: No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
