Name of the Project: “Skeletal muscle fluorosis: effects of fluoride on skeletal muscle cells and its associated mechanisms in vitro and in vivo studies”

Duration: Three years
Monthly Fellowship: Rs 25,000 p.m. + HRA
Tenure: The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Essential Qualification: Candidates with M.Sc. degree in any branch of Biological Science subjects with a minimum of 60% marks. Candidates who have qualified CSIR-NET/DBT-JRF/UGC-JRF/GATE will be preferred. Selected candidates can enroll themselves for the Ph.D. programme of the institution. A good academic record, inquisitiveness to do science, independent worker, a good team player and skills in any one techniques such as cell culture, qRT-PCR, Western blot, flow cytometry, small animal handling and brief knowledge about muscle biology is desirable. Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English are compulsory.
