Job Name: Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (PDRF)
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for the promotion of high-quality science education and research in the country.
Applications are invited for a Post-Doctoral position supported by a Wellcome Trust — DBT funded project on NF-kB signalling in the immune system and cancer.
We’re looking for a highly motivated candidate with a PhD degree in a relevant area. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in molecular cloning, cell culture, microscopic methods in addition to flow cytometry. Some insight into signal transduction and gene regulation will be an advantage.
Duration: The project is for five years and the initial recruitment is going to be made for two years with possible extension based on progress.
Emoluments: Consolidated monthly emoluments of Rs. 48,000/- will be paid during the first year with a possible increase in the salary during the second year.
