Post Name : Project Assistant
Project Name: “Regulation of ETS fusion transcription factors in refractory prostate cancer model”
Age : Below 28 years as of 15th June, 2018. Relaxation as per GOI rules.
Fellowship : Rs. 14,000/- p.m.
Duration : Co-terminus with the project or 2 years.
Essential Qualification :
- Candidates with Master’s Degree in any field of Biology are eligible to apply. Applicants should have a minimum of 65 percent marks in MSc.
- Expertise in lab based cell culture, animal handling/experiments and basic molecular biology methods.
- A minumum of one project during MSc that comprises the aforementioned experiences.
- One letter of reference from college/university supervisor, if chosen for this post.
Desirable Qualification : Preference will be given to NET/GATE qualification.
How to Apply:
Candidates who have the requisite qualifications need to apply. If it so happens over 10 applicants are short-listed by screening the applications, a written exam will be conducted just before the selection interview and only people who are successful in the written exam will be interviewed. No TA/ DA will be compensated for appearing in the interview.
Applicants with the requisite qualifications can send applications in the format linked below using a photograph, a copy of complete resume giving the percentage of Marks acquired and attested copies of expertise & credentials to reach the undersigned on or before 15th June, 2018. Envelopes must be superscribed with abbreviated title of this project, advertisement number and job name. Selection to the position won’t entitle the candidate to some future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). Just like all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with finish of this project.
